Week 4 Power Rankings

With week four in the books, our beloved ‘Cats are still undefeated, yet slipped in the rankings this week after back-to-back lackluster performances against Western Michigan and Maine. Western Michigan got blasted by Iowa this week, 59-3, making Northwestern’s 21 point victory over the Broncos last week look a lot less impressive. Michigan also slipped in the rankings after two straight white-knuckle wins over mediocre opponents. Wisconsin jumped both the ‘Cats and ‘Verines to reach #2. In the opinion of the West Lot Warriors (which, in all honesty, doesn’t count for much), there is a clear divide between these top four teams in the B1G, and the remaining eight. Also of note – Minnesota continues to garner little respect, as they are ranked 9th in our poll despite being one of only four teams in the B1G yet to lose a game. On to the rankings:

1. Ohio State (6)
2. Wisconsin
4. Michigan
5. Nebraska
6. Michigan State
7. Iowa
7. Penn State
9. Minnesota
10. Illinois
11. Indiana
12. Pur-don’t
