And the preseason posts keep on rolling. Tomorrow will mark our first GAME WEEK POST, where we will feature our first official Pump Up Jam of the 2014 season. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for that one. But enough self promotion…on to the power rankings.
The unanimous #1 pick was Michigan State, which appears to be the general consensus of just about everyone after the Braxton Miller injury. OSU and Wisconsin were in a very tight race for the #2 spot, however OSU edged the Badgers this week. A strong showing (read: win) against LSU could certainly bump Wisco up to #2 next week.
The #B1GCats were voted as high as 4th and as low as 9th, and came in just above average at #7. Not a lot of love for the B1G newcomers, Rutgers and Maryland, who enter the rankings at #11 and #12 respectively. Lollinois and Purdue continue to battle for the bottom spot yet again this season, however, until Purdue beats a non-FCS team, they will remain the bottom rung. Full rankings below:
